Heal The Hurt was formed from the belief that heavy music can be a mental health lifeline. Fronted by Trevor Tyson, the Georgia-based band creates emotionally direct metalcore that confronts depression, anxiety, addiction, hopelessness, and burnout while reminding listeners they do not have to suffer alone.
The band’s sound blends crushing instrumentation, soaring melodies, and emotionally raw lyrics with themes of mental health, perseverance, faith, and hope. Heal The Hurt’s self-titled debut EP was released August 23, 2024. Its lead single, “RUIN,” was recognized by Revolver Magazine as one of the publication’s “6 Best Songs Right Now.”
In 2026, Heal The Hurt released the nu-metal-inspired single “Critical Error,” a song about the physical and emotional cost of chasing validation and building an identity around productivity instead of purpose. The track was produced by Hunter Babcock and Ryan Leitru, engineered by Patrick Shekut, and mixed and mastered by Aaron Chaparian.
Heal The Hurt has shared stages with Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm, Sleeping Giant, HolyName, Wolves at the Gate, Convictions, and Bloodlines. In fall 2026, the band launched its first U.S. headlining run, the No Hope In Hell Tour, presented by KingdomCore with support from Magdalene Rose and Unbroken Reign.
